Profile of Famatta E. Thomas - Liberia Country Director and Co-chair

My name is Famatta Eunice Thomas, a journalist in the Media landscape for the  past fifteen years.
I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Mass Communication ( UL) and Graduate student reading International Relations at the University of Liberia (UL).
I'm currently the Radio supervisor at the Voice of Firestone (VOF) in  Harbel Lower Margibi County .
Famatta Eunice Thomas is also a motivational speaker, a trainer, entrepreneur and an advocate.

I am a radio host and have one of the most listened to radio show in Liberia called Success Journal. This is a motivational and transformational program that host high profile personalities from diverse background,
 culture, religion etc.

I hosted former president of Liberia Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleff, BBC corresponded Hassan Arouni during his mission to Liberia soliciting the views of Liberians on the verdict of former president Charles'Taylor in the Hece, former Information Minister of Liberia Lawrence Bropleh and several others.

I run a nonprofit organization called Touch Life Liberia (TLL)  been in existence for seven years.
We basically focus on women and girls as well as less fortunate youths  providing vocational training / skills scholarship  etc.

We were involved in this year's Elections process, providing civic education and peace messages.

Touch Life Liberia is one of the groups in Liberia played a strong advocacy role pushing the passing of the Drug Bill in Liberia.

On May 22, 2023 Touch Life Liberia brought together more than two thousand women and girls from three counties including Montserrado, Margibi and Grand Bassa.and launched a campaign on drugs called Mother Against Drugs (MAD)  read and presented a petition to the Government of Liberia.

I also worked with several organizations, religious groups and social groups in Liberia providing free services.
